Quirk in Law Endangers EHOVE Renewal Levy

EHOVE Joint Vocational School faces a ballot anomaly as state law lacks the word renewal, making the operating levy look like a new 1.95 mill levy plus a one tenth mill improvement levy. Superintendent Creighton Christ notes only .55 mill is a true increase, with the rest funded by savings and prior levies.

Bellevue Driver Is Hurt Here

A Bellevue woman, Kathy S. Postell aged 20, was treated and released at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after losing control of her car on Grove Avenue and hitting a tree and a fire hydrant. She did not recall the crash. the vehicle crossed the east curb near 30 Grove Ave and traveled 120 feet.
