New London Woman, Norwalk Man Indicted Secretly
A New London woman Beverly Wetten faces theft by deception for taking an unauthorized job while on welfare. Norwalk resident James Kelly is charged with writing a $981 bad check to Nickels Cycle Ranch on Ohio 113 East. Both indicted last week by a Huron County grand jury and arraigned Thursday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

Cleveland tycoon Julius Kravitz dies after kidnapping
Julius Kravitz 67 chairman of First National Supermarkets died after being shot in a ransom plot that also targeted his wife Georgina 56. Akron and Cleveland authorities pursued two suspects including a Cleveland Heights auxiliary police officer. Mrs Kravitz survived. the abduction occurred in Shaker Heights with suspects posing as police officers.
