Beasley paints house for Bicentennial in De Kalb
Jon Beasley a 20 year old painter student at Northern Illinois University finished a flag themed repaint of his parents home in De Kalb after a nine hour drive from Kentucky. The house features red white and blue with a 13 star blue field above the second floor window. The Beasley family plans to decide how long the colors stay and when to repaint before Jon returns to college.

New London Church to Honor Pastor at Open House
Rev. and Mrs. Arthur W. Kirk will be honored at a 3 to 5 p.m. open house at Wesley Fellowship Hall. Kirk, pastor since 1971, will give his final sermon. He will move to Clyde parsonage on June 25. Rev. Allen R. Conway will become the new pastor and preach June 29.

Greenwich Village Council Considers Parking Fines and Pay Hikes
