Norwalk tackles sewer hike and open meeting clause
City council approved a first step to raise sewer rates from 48 to 80 cents per 1000 gallons over 5000 and to fund a North West Street sewer line after a recent collapse. The panel also considers an open meetings charter clause and budgets, plus authorizes land sale near Schild’s IGA and purchases for ambulances and street work.
