Ohioans passed only 38 percent of 102 school money issues on Tuesday’s primary ballot. At least three financially faltering districts may close after emergency operating levies failed. The Ohio Department of Education reported 14 of 50 new operating levies and 15 of 33 bond issues won approval.

Car disrupts picketing at Fanny Farmer plant
Two unidentified women reportedly drove through the Fanny Farmer Candy Shops line outside the Norwalk plant at about 10 30 this morning, knocking a lawn chair into U S 20 and threatening strikers. No injuries were reported as about 400 employees walked off at midnight last Thursday ending their three year contract.
