Norwalk considers open meeting guarantee charter revision
The Norwalk City Council plans to place a November charter revision on the ballot to require all city commissions and committees to hold open meetings. A court ruling had limited sunshine laws to city charters, but the proposed amendment would ensure public and media access under all administrations. The agenda includes multiple ordinances on bids, fiscal appropriations, zoning changes, land sales, and open meetings.
