Two armed men forced entry at the Erie County Juvenile Detention Home in Sandusky late Thursday. They forced release of a teenage girl and fled with her, while police seek the girl's boyfriend and an associate from Vickery. No arrests reported.

SANDUSKY Dr. Don J. Young son of U.S. District Judge and Mrs. Don J. Young has opened a medical practice in Sandusky. Dr. Young, a cardiologist, joins Dr. Arthur G. Groscost in practice. He is a Norwalk High School graduate, attended Western Reserve University and Emory University School of Medicine. He trained at Indiana Medical Center Hospitals and served two years as a major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Previously he practiced in Wooster. He and his wife Karen Lyman of Oberlin and their two sons D.J. and Andy live on Cedar Brook Lane.
Huron County deputy Anthony P. Arcudi sprayed a car battery as it flew 40 feet during a crash at the Dairy Dee in Norwalk. Five people were exposed to acid. three received minor burns and were treated at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital. No major injuries reported. Bryant cited for failing to yield.

Early this morning a rock was thrown through a window at the Richard Temple home on 12 Oakfield Drive. Temple's son Todd told police the rock flew across the living room and struck the opposite wall before a car sped away.
