Lima man sues Norwalk police for 11 million dollars
Richard L. Hutchinson files a civil rights suit in Toledo alleging Norwalk police shot him while fleeing last July 18. Charles McCann was held on possession of plates and later released on bond after attempting to sell them to an undercover agent for 12000 dollars. Three men bound over in Wakeman officer shooting case
James Cudnik of Toledo was bound over to Huron County Common Pleas Court on charges of aiding and abetting attempted murder in the Wakeman shooting of Patrolman Clarence Whitney. Two co-defendants George House and Timothy Baker also bound over after preliminary hearings. Whitney is hospitalized in Sandusky with a gunshot wound.
