Clothesline Art Show set for Clyde with varied works
Eileen Stiver of Norwalk enters paintings in the second annual Clothesline Art Show in Clyde from noon to dark Sunday. Entries come from eleven areas including Michigan Toledo Fostoria Sandusky and Bellevue. Artists Marge Cook and Elsen Von Wiegen, known teachers, will display ceramics china painting and more. Most pieces for sale. rain date July 24.

Airman Chandler earns Air Force Commendation Medal
Airman 1st Class W. Chandler received the Air Force Commendation Medal for outstanding achievement as a fuel systems specialist. He is on a 12 month tour at Whibon Airfield Thailand. Sgt John N Faris promoted to sergeant in the United States Marine Corps effective June 1. He serves at the Marine Corps Service Center Barstow California as a machinist with a four year enlistment expiring Oct 7.
