Norwalk Flood Strands Residents as Waters Rise
Flood waters on South Old State Road east of Route 61 stranded families for about 24 hours. One man swam home while others sought shelter in a Norwalk motel. The Huron County Sheriff’s Department stood by with rescue boats as waters receded and access by car returned.
