Boy Butcher’s Apprentice Kevin Austin Stands Tall in Mini World
Six year old Kevin Austin, 3 feet 10 inches and 44 pounds, assists his father Steve Austin in a Norwalk area slaughterhouse. He handles knives with safety, helps remove shanks and hide, and trims meat under his father’s guidance. Kevin also trains with weights and dreams of arm wrestling, while shadowing his dad’s work daily during Christmas break.
