Cops Ticket Marathoners For Jay Jogging
Two Boston Marathon hopefuls Kring and Minnich were cited for jay jogging by Avon Lake police under an obscure sidewalk rule. They faced up to 100 dollar fines per count for walking on the road when walks are available. The men said sidewalks were icy and unsafe and that there were no sidewalks where they ran. Minnich and Kring planned to appeal the tickets while continuing training.
