Raymond Kramer started Norwalk Pallet Co. with a $29.95 power saw and mailings to prospects. Six years later the firm on Ontario Street reports assets over $50,000 after early orders from Saginaw Wire Products Inc. in Norwalk.
Randy Kramer expanded Norwalk Pallet Co from a garage to a 3,520 square foot plant on Ontario Street. The operation now makes 200 pallets daily for more than a dozen northcentral Ohio plants using staples and a custom mini saw mill built by his brother. He employs five workers and aims to grow while seeking local labor.
