Capelle presses Norwalk line to keep Willard office open
City Manager Paul W. Capelle met General Telephone officials to oppose closing the Willard business office in June as part of an economy move. The plan keeps front office closed but maintains field workers in Willard with a toll free line to Norwalk for inquiries. Capelle proposed a customer poll and a 50 cent monthly surcharge to retain the office. Meanwhile a separate item reports a 10 year old runaway arrested after riding a stolen bike, with juvenile court delinquency charges pending.
