Rockefeller charges: Humphrey and Nixon seek to relive past
Vice President Humphrey urged a reexamination of old policies in a National Press Club address after suspending his campaign. Rockefeller accused both Humphrey and Nixon of wanting to relive the past, while Nixon urged Democrats Republicans and independents to unite under a Republican banner for change. McCarthy triumphed in New York primary momentum as delegates remain split, and Gallup data show Wallace leading in five Southern states.

Skulls Found at Ohio Garbage Dump Spark Mystery
Seven human skulls were discovered at a Belmont County dump on Jim Cummins property in Pinch Run Township. Coroner Dr. W. J. Shephard and Prosecutor John J. Malik Jr. voiced confusion over their origin, noting the skulls seemed recent and not from an Indian burial. One skull showed a hole, others bore skin and hair, with four skulls bearing preserved tissue. The find involved six males and a child, possibly all Negroes, with no missing persons reported locally.
