The University of Iowa all girl Highlanders bagpipe band faced a border checkpoint in East Berlin when a sword found in a bus passenger's luggage. Bonnie Luzius of Fairview Park Ohio owns the weapon used in the sword dance performed in Dusseldorf earlier in the week. Guards requested a weapons permit but allowed the group to cross after discussion.
