In Saigon a terrorist killed a U S soldier amid warnings of a Viet Cong death by own action raid. Extra guards surround the U S Embassy as police go on full alert and troops tighten checkpoints near Saigon. An unconfirmed report links a planned attack to the July 20 anniversary.
The Miami Valley forecast calls for mostly snowy and warm weather today and Saturday. Highs are expected in the 80s and low 90s with fair tonight and lows in the 60s to 70s. Yesterday reached 90 degrees with a morning low around 64.
