Long living father linked to offspring longevity says Johns Hopkins
Dr. Edmond Murphy presented findings from a study of 2 300 people aged nine or older and 1 400 offspring traced from an expected 11 600. Offspring of long living fathers and mothers who died young showed higher chances of being alive at age 70. The study suggests paternal longevity may influence offspring lifespan more than maternal longevity.
