Israel to begin two stage pullout from southern Lebanon
Israel will start a two stage partial withdrawal from southern Lebanon on Tuesday. The first stage covers areas east of Marjayoun and the Khardali bridge over the Litani River, with about 700 Norwegian troops in the area. The plan aims to complete the pullout by next Friday, following a request from Lt Gen. Mordechai Gur at a Jerusalem meeting.
