Wholesale prices rise slowed for March lifting shopper outlook

Wholesale prices increased 0.6 percent in March, the Labor Department reported, suggesting annual inflation near seven percent if the March rate continues. Ex-resident Gall held after high speed Kentucky chase

Gall 31 formerly of Middletown and Hillsboro is under first degree assault charges after a seven mile pursuit in Pendleton County. Two state policemen and a bystander were wounded, with Patrolman Gary Carey in guarded condition and Patrolman Steve Hartman injured. The incident followed a rural grocery store robbery in Gardnersville.

Court Rules You Must Die To Leave Estate In Ohio

The Ohio Supreme Court ruled that Maribel Finnell must wait until her death to bequeath inherited rights in Dr. Samuel Hartman’s $8.5 million patent medicine estate. Hartman, who built wealth selling Peruna, died in 1918. Finnell, 80, is the last Hartman grandchild with two children, Michael and Patricia Kulha, while about 300 indirect descendants opposed moving the trust now.
