Oaklawn Upgrades to Eight Slice CT Scanner at Hospital
Oaklawn Hospital now operates an eight slice General Electric LightSpeed CT scanner, cutting exam times and boosting image depth. The device enables faster, clearer scans, reduces rescans, and lowers radiation by up to 30 percent, aiding trauma and cardiovascular assessments. Oaklawn joins a national trend with one of four such units in the state.
