Volunteers repaint historic Grafton caboose on Main Street
A volunteer crew organized by Main Street Grafton and the Grafton Railroad Historical Society spent a weekend painting the town’s iconic yellow caboose at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Street. The car, a remnant of the CSX era, was saved from yard scrapping and moved to its current spot with help from local farmers and a legendary donor, John Spitzer, who funded the delivery.
