Elyria mom charged after children found on Ohio Turnpike
Ashley Mullar 33 of Lake Avenue was arrested on two counts of endangering children after her 12 year old and 53 year old were found walking along the Ohio Turnpike in Elyria last Wednesday. Police say the mother reported the children missing and later said they could have left with strangers. One child was injured in a confrontation with the fiancé. Child Services placed one child with Lorain Turning Point and the other with McCarty’s cousin. Mullar bonded out of Lorain County Jail.

Missing Amherst Township man found in Michigan
A 90 year old Amherst Township man Robert Igoe was found safe in Michigan after going missing Thursday. Tribal police located him near a disabled car on tribal land about 200 miles from home and contacted his family, with Igoe later taken home by his sons in good health. Police and first responders across several states aided the search.
