Children Services levy sought for fall in Lorain County
Lorain County commissioners move to place a 1.8 mill renewal levy for Lorain County Children Services on the November ballot. The board sent the issue to the auditor for valuation. Executive Director Kristen Fox Berks and Board Chairman Jim Miller urged support, noting the levy funds about half of the agency budget and does not raise taxes. The panel also approved a three year NEOGOV contract for HR software at 594,367 and authorized four ODOT road projects in Lorain County through 2027 with 80 percent federal funding.
