Mission Hills man killed in fall from truck
A Mission Hills man, Frederick Dawn Benhart, 34, died after falling from a pickup on McLaughlin Road. A Cleveland, Ohio resident, Dale Lyden Majecen, 21, died from injuries in a separate crash on Highway 101 north of Buellton. Police dispersed a 150 person crowd near North L Street. no injuries reported. High fire danger areas in Los Padres National Forest to close July 1 with restricted entry permitted. Funeral services for Benhart were pending.
