Toastmistress contest fetes Mrs Massey for lively speech

Mrs David Massey won the annual Lompoc Toastmistress contest at the Golden Greek Restaurant with a humorous talk on America Going to the Dogs. Lois Gill came in second and Merri Jane Pritchard third while club members hosted and judges from nearby clubs attended.

Lodges Plan Benefit Breakfast and Sale Events

Lompoc Rebekah and Odd Fellows lodges sponsor a February 22 breakfast in IOOF Hall with adults at 1.25 and children at 0.75 to fund the Odd Fellows youth camp at Sonora Pass. Also planned are an enchilda sale March 14, rummage sale May 8-9, and a turkey dinner October 17. Deputy Ida Mae Grieb will lead a school of instruction February 17.

Toastmasters Meet Tuesday at Golden Greek in Lompoc
