Korean Clings to Sea Turtle Rescued by Swedish Ship
A Korean survivor clung to a giant sea turtle for 15 hours after tumbling from the Pedelara about 113 miles off Nicaragua. Captain Horst Werder of the Citadell reported the odd rescue and said the man recovered quickly after being brought aboard. The Citadell headed toward Los Angeles expected Wednesday or Thursday.

Tests begin on bay sewerage discharge
Extensive tests will be made this week in a mobile field laboratory to determine effects of sewage discharges into Monterey Bay. Louis F. Saylor said the lab would be operated by the state public health department with county health departments and other groups. Clams will be examined for sewage bacteria and water samples tested for bacteriological content.
