Senate backs bills blocking mental health facility closures without vote

Zoning violator John Hohlbauch jailed for junkyard

Santa Barbara County authorities intensified a zoning crackdown sending John Hohlbauch of Montecito to 60 days in county jail for maintaining a junkyard in a residential area. Other violators include Edward Fleming of Goleta Valley facing additional penalties and Ernest Haeckel of San Marcos Road recently released after a 30 day sentence.

Court asked to unseal Grand Jury transcript in McAlpine case

Third rabid bat found in SB City
