Brownie Troop 695 held a fly up ceremony at Clinton Park after meeting at Pinckney school. Seventeen girls received Girl Scout wings including Janet Abrams and Patrice Brown, with 16 Brownies and leaders listed. The year includes trips to Abilene, Clinton Park, trailer homes, Hidden Valley, and a year end party.
The Oakridge Extension Homemakers Unit meets Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Mrs. Eugene Nune maker’s home for a Minerals Do Matter lesson by Mrs. Will Hayden. Roll call asks for a foreign food I enjoy. In Linwood, Mrs. Mildred Baird hosted a May meeting with fourteen members present.
