Lawrence police reported an assault and a theft. Bryan D. Anderson a Kansas University sophomore from Grand Forks NC said three white men assaulted him in the 1200 block of Louisiana Street shortly after midnight and he was treated at Watkins Memorial Hospital in good condition. C J Elliott reported the theft of a $50 wristwatch from his home after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Wreck Near Lecompton Injures One Afield
