International backing boosts Libyan rebels’ legitimacy

The United States and over 30 nations formally recognize the main Libyan opposition as the legitimate government, de legitimizing Muammar Gadhafi. The move could unlock billions in funding for rebels, who have stalled on the battlefield as NATO airstrikes target Gadhafi forces. Government seeks clarity on airline fees disclosure

Three Arrested Over Vandalism At Eudora Stadium

Douglas County prosecutors say Eudora police arrested three people in connection with vandalism at the new Eudora District Stadium on the high school campus. One 18 year old suspect posted bond and was released. two juveniles were later released. Police estimate at least 25000 dollars in damage from spray painting the Cardinal mascot head and parts of the track.

Hall of Fame Dinner Honors KU Hospital Transformation

KU Hospital officials honored key leaders and organizations at a Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Celebration in Kansas City.
