KSU Kickers Win First Victory 3-1 at Kenyon
Mink Danilo scored all three Kent State goals in the second quarter to lift the Flashes to a 3-1 win over Kenyon at Kenyon College. The Lords opened scoring in the first period, but Danilo’s hat trick in the quarter secured the victory and a 1-0 season start to improve the team’s offensive play. Kent State hosts Western Reserve next Saturday for a Homecoming tilt.

Huskies Crush Newport Naval In 125-0 rout
Connecticut Huskies overwhelmed Newport Naval Training Station 125 to 0 on a rain slick field at Storrs. Frank Alu, a 147 pound back, scored on runs of 60 78 and 51 yards while twelve backs two ends and a tackle joined the scoring spree ahead of next Saturdays Homecoming against Kent State.
