Wayne Wolfert University of Wisconsin graduate and UW speech theater alum will direct John Loves Mary for the UT stage opening tomorrow night. He brings an ultra modern interior design under construction for the New York setting and plans a second show with Family Portrait. Wolfert studied at Georgetown and served in the army two years. He met Broadway figures at Wisconsin and notes many shows test runs there. His UT tenure may end next year when Wes Egan returns from UNC where he studies for a master’s.
