The VA announces that reinstate of lapsed NSLI longer than 90 days requires a physical exam. For term policies lapsed under three months, reactivation may require two monthly premiums. permanent policies need back premiums plus interest. Examinations can be set at VA clinics or with a private physician.
Candidates for the M A degree will take written graduate school examinations Saturday from 8 to 12 a m in 108K. The tests will also be given Saturday May 21. This will be the last opportunity for those graduating in June to take the exams. The tests are issued from the graduate school office under the direction of Dr Raymond M Clark.
Senior class picnic will be held at Sandy Lake park on Wednesday June 8. Tickets cost 75 cents sold by seniors and at the Booster booth. Activities include swimming dancing softball horseshoe pitching games and races with all the refreshments you can eat says George Gilbert picnic chairman.
English tests will be given to third quarter sophomores Monday May 16 to determine how many need further instruction. Two tests will be offered from 10 to 12 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Students may choose either session.
The mathematics department at KSU will offer a course in astronomy this summer combining business with pleasure. Students enrolling will study Venus Saturn Mars Jupiter the Moon and the Sun during the first summer session.
About 175 hours in a Texan T-6 trainer plus aviation education and executive training cover navigation fuels weather radio and radar. The program promises vigorous action and top athletic facilities. Upon completion you earn a Reserve commission as second lieutenant in the U S Air Force, with outstanding graduates receiving Regular commissions.
