AARP Dinner Honors Hubbard Van Drivers and Operators

Hubbard Chapter 3231 of the AARP hosted an appreciation dinner at the Senior Citizens Center on December 14. More than 75 attended, with Catherine McMaster and Greg Zenevich as special guests. Volunteers who operate the telephone lines and drive the community van were recognized for their dedication. The Offbeats provided seasonal entertainment as officers prepared to end their term.

J L president to the IlN meeting speaker

Thomas C Graham, president and CEO of Jones and Laughlin Steel, will be the featured speaker at the 34th annual meeting of the Industrial Information Institute on Wednesday January 27 at 6 30 p m at the Avalon Inn. The talk titled Productivity The Art of the Possible outlines the plant and educational collaboration across Mahoning county and neighboring valleys with 25 new member companies to be recognized. Ila Huff receives a plaque and honorary gavel for service as new officers are installed.
