Organ group honors charter members on 25th anniversary
The Hammond Organ Society in Youngstown honored its charter members Dan Wagner Lottie Wagner Vernelle Turner Joe Turner Roxie Weimer at a 25th anniversary event with Grace Lutheran Church pastor Terry Maher presiding. Tri-State Organ Society officials presented a commemorative plate to Youngstown Club president Clyde Dixon as members performed music and sang.

Nutri-Kid program teaches nutrition
The Warren YWCA offers a six week Nutri-Kid course for overweight children stressing nutrition and exercise. Classes meet twice weekly starting June 14 from 11 am to 8 pm at the YWCA with activities including movies speakers games swimming and aerobic exercise led by Shirley Nerone and staff. Nerone shares weight loss experience and emphasizes nutrition attitude and self control as keys to success for children ages six to twelve.
