Commissioners split mot el tax pie dispute heats up
Trumbull County commissioners weigh Latell plan to redirect motel tax receipts from the Convention Bureau to general funds for police, streets, and local projects. If approved the bureau would face a about $21,000 1983 budget cut, while several townships would gain varying amounts. Opponents Dennison and Magee warn it harms tourism aims and equity.
