Celebrates last mass in Howland with June tribute
Msgr. Donald J. Reagan will celebrate his last mass at Blessed Sacrament during the first weekend of June. A musical tribute is planned for June 4 and 5 with special booklets and hymns written by Msgr. Reagan. Cantors from the Blessed Sacrament Adult Choir participate, with a guest cantor for the 4 p.m. Saturday mass. A reception follows on June 12 in the new Parish Hall, with a 3 p.m. special presentation.

Mary Katherine Monroe of 3588 Demura Drive SE Howland received a $100 cash award from Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing at commencement for the highest average in Operating Room Practice. Patti Schultz of 3256 Ted Avenue NW Warren earned a $75 cash award for the second highest average.

Howland teachers award two senior scholarships named for Marie Fansler
The Howland Classroom Teachers Association raised funds from a benefit raffle to award two scholarships. Wendy Kish, daughter of science teacher Edward Kish, won $400 for Hubbard High School. Scott Baran, son of math teacher and first grade teacher, received $300. Wendy plans respiratory therapy at Youngstown State University. Scott will study pharmacy at Ohio State University.

Memorial Day Campaign urges support for MIAs POWs
