Edwards finally receives long awaited FFA jacket
North Carolina Senator Chuck Edwards was presented the Future Farmers of America jacket in a surprise Henderson County ceremony at Dana McConnell Farm. The jacket, linked to a 90 year tradition, cannot be worn by graduates and requires approval from the national FFA. Edwards recalls his forestry and agriculture interests and explains his family faced financial hardship affecting his earlier access.
