Fire destroys Slate Hill farmhouse during Friday night gale
A blaze on the south side of Slate Hill near Port Jervis destroyed the Dolan and Many residences, with losses estimated at 12000 dollars. Mrs. Dolan narrowly escaped and was carried from the building. The fire was blamed on a defective chimney and partially insured.
