Helping Hand Club Picnic Postponed This Week

The Helping Hand Club picnic scheduled for Sunday, July 28, has been postponed. Adult Education Program life enrichment classes in elementary English mathematics and practical spelling will meet at 7 30 o'clock Saturday evening in room 2 at the Community Service Center. Telephone 3474.

Little Flower Band Entertained Tuesday Evening

Altar Society shows eleven members with Mrs Clarence Schumaker hosting a Tuesday gathering. Mrs Dolan joins. after a business meeting, bridge games at three tables award high to Mrs Harold Osborn and all cut to Mrs Cocking. Lunch closes the evening. Pi meeting set for August 12 at Mrs Joe Lantgen’s home.

Extension Club Has Last Meeting of Year Picnic Supper

The Play or Lew Extension Club held its final meeting of the year at a Fair Grounds picnic supper. Officers elected: Mrs. Carl Thompson chairman and Mrs. James Harney secretary. Next meeting set for September 10.

Mixers Extension Club Enjoys Annual Picnic at Fair Grounds

The Mixers Extension Club held its annual picnic at the Fair grounds Tuesday evening with good attendance and informal planning for future meetings. Miss Gertrude Lampe hosted a linen shower at her home for Betty Cook, who will wed on August 14, with prizes awarded to Mrs. Gerald Beddow, Miss Margaret Lampe, and Miss Olive Harris. Refreshments featured a table decorated with favors and corsages in pink and silver.
