Force main crack spills 50 gallons into Lake Ballinger
Terrace officials report a foot long crack in the Lake Ballinger pump station force main leaked about 50 gallons of sewage into Lake Ballinger. Health District signs were posted July 7, testing showed no significant contamination. DOE and Health District officials disputed notification duties and note prior spills and upgrades at the lift station.
