Bible study credits considered for high school graduation
Montana state education board discussed allowing Bible study conducted outside schools to count toward graduation and college entrance credits. The motion, supported by John Deitrich and Rev. Newman, calls for a joint church committee to prepare a syllabus and would be voluntary for high schools. Billings also seeks state approval for a summer training school for teachers at the Polytechnic, with funding by locals and state certification possible.
