Funeral services for Neil Sharkey reported in Dillon
Neil Sharkey died Saturday night in The Metlen hotel after a brief pneumonia illness. A Canadian by birth, he lived in Montana since 188? and resided in Dillon for about twenty years. He leaves three children Mrs M D Gist, Mrs Fred Conger, and Frank Sharkey of Anaconda. His wife and son Charles preceded him. The funeral was held at St Rose Catholic Church with interment beside his wife and son.

City Baseball League to Furnish Games This Year

Patterson Passes Sixty Milestone At Ranch Celebration

Dillon Boys Sent to Reformatory in Miles City

Another Twenty Gallon Still Found Near Dillon
Last Sunday sheriff Mooney and undersheriff Ross found a cabin on the Holden ranch east of Dillon with a still. Sam Jones was arrested and pled guilty after trial. Four barrels were empty, two gallons of mash remained, and about twenty gallons of whiskey were seized from the cabin.

Beaverhead High Students Win Multiple Honors at State Contest
Beaverhead County High School swept seven points at the first state high school music contest in Big Timber. The string quartet won first place earning five points while the girls quartet and the violin contest each took third place, adding one point apiece. The Dillon delegation also earned three of five possible prizes and received warm hospitality from Big Timber hosts.
