Drainage Hearings Plotted Over Okaloosa County Project
Two groups oppose the Airport Road drainage plan and will face separate hearings before the state Department of Environmental Regulation and county authorities unless merged. Kell-Aire Gardens Property Owners Association filed on April 22 to challenge the plan to dump stormwater into Lake Kell-Aire. A DEA hearing officer has been assigned to one case, while the other petition from Lake Bell-Aire and Joe's Bayou residents awaits assignment.
