Ward seeks 500000 for harbor funding in budget
Rep James Ward has added 500000 for the Old Pass Lagoon cleanup project to the 1984-85 state budget carried by the Northwest Florida Water Management District. Aide says the $500,000 covers part of the estimated 2 million cost and the measure passed the House Appropriations Committee and heads to the floor. The project may use a pipe flushing system to drain harbor water into the gulf. Ward previously questioned data from the water management district but now supports the allocation.

Sewer System Revamp Recommended for Destin DWU
