Nurturing Palms Back To Health
Palm trees damaged by last January’s freezes need care to recover. Prune lightly leaving any green specks, spray with copper fungicide then a second treatment after ten days. Fertilize twice yearly with high nitrogen formulations, apply 2 to 1 to 1 ratio, and keep fertilizer at least one foot from the trunk. After application soak thoroughly.
