Elijah Bowsher, who confessed to robbing the American National Bank of 18000, was sentenced in Lima to seven years in the state penitentiary. The judge faulted his previous lies in a related slander case and denied family sympathy.
Mr and Mrs F W Dickman and son visited F W Smith in Brunersburg on Sunday. Henry Frank Jr and Miss Anna Heer wed last Tuesday by Rev Beer. Paulding township held a local option election Tuesday excluding Paulding city and Latty. The dry side won 199 to 114, closing all saloons in the township at the end of three days. Saloon plans to skirt limits may need revision as Latty and Paulding village already vote dry.
