Geologist Tom F. Petty of Humble Oil surveyed a well on C. V. Bryson's ranch near Comanche. Frisco's S. Oliver visited on business. Many residents and visitors were noted including Mrs. Howard Fox and Stanley, Leve Robinson in San Angelo, and Shorty Vineyard joining First National Bank. Multiple locals moved, traveled, or took posts in Abilene, Fort Worth, and Dallas while others attended family events and store sales.

Tomb of W. B. Mauldin Is Buried in Rock Church Cemetery

W B Mauldin 97 died at his daughter Mrs Luke Reeves Blanket Texas on Tuesday October 6 following senility. Interment occurred Wednesday at Rock Church Cemetery between Blanket and Comanche with Rev Wood and Rev Henderson officiating. He was born June 13 1830 in Tennessee and lived in several Texas counties before settling near Sidney 1881. He was a Confederate veteran with eighteen children and longtime Primitive Baptist Church member.
