The Comanche County Commissioners Court has ordered a four year audit of all county books. The contract is awarded to W G Hill and Company of Austin and work begins next Monday morning. All county officers handling funds will have their records examined by the certified firm. This marks the first countywide audit by a hired auditing company.

King Boys Trial to Be Oct 27
Walter and Joe King, Comanche county brothers, were indicted for murder by the Haskell County Grand Jury. The trial was set for October 27 after the grand jury convened September 26 in Haskell. The men allegedly killed the nightwatchman and burglarized a store on October 24, 1926. Walter claimed confession in jail and named Ruben Davis as an accomplice who later had an alibi.
